Route description

The route from Rycerka Górna Kolonia to Wielka Racza is the gentlest of our Beskid routes: a well-trodden forest trail leading to a PTTK mountain hut right below the summit.

The surface is a forest trail, rocky in places, but with no chains and no sections requiring experience. Over 4.4 km one way there's no significant elevation gain: a route well suited to a calm, family day in the mountains.

Right below the summit, by the hut, there's a viewing platform exactly on the Polish-Slovak border. Thanks to the moderate pace and short distance, it's a good option even with children, given enough time.
